M&E Systems Design and Operationalisation

GP&SL has worked on several assignments that require working with staff of Ministries Departments and Agencies (MDAs), Regional Coordinating Councils (RCCs), Metropolitan Municipal District Assemblies (MMDAs) and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs).  Almost all design and Operationalization projects have information needs assessment, data and information usage determination and capacity building components.  All these require interacting and working with all key stakeholders to ensure that the system that is eventually developed does not aggravate any key stakeholder but enhances the delivery of their work. 

GP&SL has proven skills in the design and Operationalization of Monitoring and Evaluation Systems.  Our experience in M&E systems development includes but not limited to the following:

Our experience in M&E systems development includes but not limited to the following:

  • Design and Operationalization of a Monitoring & Evaluation System for Cadbury Cocoa Partnership (CCP) in Ghana.
  • Design and operationalization of a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) System for the Commercial Strengthening of Certified Cocoa Production in Ghana. A project funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and implemented by CNFA.
  • As Counterpart country SROI & M&E partner for the Cadbury Cocoa Partnership, developed a framework and lead with the in-country Operationalisation.
  • Prepared a Performance Management Plan (PMP) and set up Monitoring and Evaluation System for CNFA Commercial Strengthening of Smallholder Cocoa Production project (CSSCPP).
  • Designed and operationalized an M&E System for the UNDP/Africa 2000 Network-Ghana Sustainable Rural Livelihoods Project in Northern Ghana. A UNDP-Funded Programme.
  • Designed and operationalized Newmont Ghana Gold Limited (NGGL) M&E System for the External Affairs Department, dubbed NEAMU – Newmont External Affairs Monitoring and Evaluation Unit.
  • Designed and operationalized the ENHANCE M&E System for OICI Ghana USAID-funded food security programme in Ghana.
  • Reviewed and Re-designed a third-party M&E framework, dubbed – “Adding Value to Performance Monitoring and Evaluation within the Framework of Shell Community Development Program” for the Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) Sustainable Community Development (SCD) Unit. Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
  • Designed and operationalized the Performance Monitoring Plan (PMP) for the West Africa Trade Hub, a USAID funded project operating in 20 countries.
  • Consulted in the design and Operationalization of the M&E System for IFAD LACOSREP II in the Upper East Region of Ghana.
  • Designed a monitoring and evaluation systems for Aid to Artisans, USA. Operationalized the system designed in Mozambique, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, and South Africa.
  • Designed and operationalized TechnoServe Ghana Food Security Impact Monitoring and Evaluation (FSIME) System.
  • Developed operational manuals for the following institutions:
