WHO WE ARE

Proudly African, Genuine Products & Services Limited (GP&SL) was registered in 2002 and began operating immediately to address a yawning gap in the business sector of Ghana particularly and West Africa in general. That is “The paucity of information and relevant services/products to support the growing business arena.”  

GP&SL represents whatever is always best and real. The name “Genuine Products & Services” is both a concept and a deliverable.  A “concept” because we believe it is the way forward, and a “deliverable” because that is what you get when you do business with us. GP&SL was set up to provide excellent start-up products and support services to development organizations, businesses, and individuals with the ultimate aim of helping Africa to grow at a faster and sustainable pace.

The goal of GP&SL is to provide quality products and dedicated/satisfactory support services to our clients and eventually become one of the best business-support service providers, business development consultancy service providers and quality goods suppliers in Africa – South of the Sahara.

Subsequently, GP&SL has been a pioneer in several areas. The most prominent is in development consultancy with emphasis on Projects, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) support services provisioning. GP&SL has been at the forefront, organizing Ghanaian evaluators into a professional discipline – the Ghana Network of Independent and Professional Evaluators (G-IPEN). The G-IPEN used to be Ghana Evaluation Network (GEN). The CEO of GP&SL is an active member of the African Evaluation Association (AfrEA), the International Organization for Collaboration in Evaluation (IOCE) and the American Evaluation Association (AEA).  As a result, the GP&SL team is always at the “cutting edge” of new developments in MEL and CLA.
